iTunes is Doomed, Hulu is a winner

Between free (read ad-supported) and pay-for-content models, free will ultimately win. I believe ABC's model of showing on-demand ad-supported content will ultimately emerge as the winning combination.

[Updated 3/30/08]: In contrast, Hulu has the right model: Great selection of free shows for consumers with ads no more annoying than cable TV, and a massive new targeted ad model for advertisers.
