As Newton said, "A body in motion tends to stay in motion, and a body at rest tends to stay at rest". However, if you are constantly in motion and at maximum speed, you will have no buffer to draw from when you encounter challenges or obstacles that need a little more. A good strategy to adopt is to always have a side-project or hobby going in addition to your regular vocation where you can develop and maintain momentum. That way, you will always have at your ready an engaged mind and extra enthusiasm that you can redirect into your main career when needed. Or vice-versa.
